Understanding key dates and deadlines is essential to successfully using your VA education benefits. Be sure to submit all required documentation on time to avoid delays in certification and payment processing.

    *LATE Benefits Requests: Processing may be delayed. Please anticipate late VA payments.

    **Ch. 33 Post 9/11 & Ch. 31 VR&E students: Benefits Requests should be submitted a minimum of one week prior to the beginning of the semester for the benefit to be applied to your student account in advance of the payment deadline. Ch. 31 VR&E: A VR&E authorization must also be on file to process the benefits request.

    ***Final Certifications: All student schedules are reviewed again; any changes are submitted to the VA along with the finalized tuition and fees for Ch. 33 Post 9/11 students.
