Staff from the Department of Career Planning & Development (DCPD) are available to support KSU classes, programs, and events in a variety of ways—from brief classroom visits to active participation at campus events.
Use the options below to request the type of support that best fits your needs. For the best chance of ensuring staff availability, please submit all requests at least two weeks in advance.

Request a Classroom or Group Presentation
DCPD advisors are available to present to your class or group for as little as five minutes or up to an hour (or more). Presentation topics include:
- An overview of DCPD services and resources
- How to participate in internships or co-ops
- “How-to” sessions on resume writing, interviewing, and job fair preparation
- We can also connect your class or group with employers interested in engaging with students.
Note: If you will not be present for class, it is your responsibility to secure room access for the presenter.

Have Us Attend Your Event as a Resource
DCPD staff can also support campus events in ways that go beyond traditional presentations. We’re happy to attend your event as a resource and can serve as:
- Tabling representatives
- Event speakers or panelists
- Resume reviewers
- Career-focused resources for students
- Other similar support roles aligned with your event goals
We can be present and on deck to help expose students to career-ready skills, guidance, and connections that support their future success.
