Council Meetings and the Graduate Policy and Curriculum Committee (GPCC)

The Associate Deans for Graduate Studies Council, the Graduate Council and the Doctoral Council provide for discussions and information concerning graduate programs at Kennesaw State University. The councils at the Graduate College coordinate with GPCC to provide recommendations on graduate policies and graduate curriculum issues. Meeting dates and times are provided below:

Graduate Council

The Graduate Council consists of the Graduate Program Director of each graduate degree program as well as the leadership team of The Graduate College. This group does not vote or set policy but will discuss items of importance to graduate programs and can make recommendations to GPCC on policy and curriculum changes. The Graduate Council meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month during the academic year. Meetings are at 2:00.

The Doctoral Council consists of the Doctoral Program Director of each doctoral degree program as well as the leadership team of The Graduate College. This group does not vote or set policy but will discuss items of importance to doctoral programs.

Associate Deans' Council

The Associate Deans’ Council for Graduate Studies consists of associate deans from each academic college who are charged with overseeing graduate programs. Meetings are scheduled the second Monday of each month at 4:00.
