Lauren Hughes
Lauren is the Interim Director of Sustainability and Living Learning Lab Program Manager within the Office of Sustainability. In this role, she facilitates experiential education opportunities, prioritizing students’ involvement in project-based learning for sustainability-focused programs throughout campus. Her Living Lab approach promotes students and researchers to conduct studies in vivo, based on local experimentation and an integration of research and innovation in practical situations for real-life solutions. Lauren has a Master of Science in Sustainable Building Technology. Originally from South Georgia, she has lived in both England and California, so her accent varies by the day.

Angelo Teachout
Angelo Teachout serves as the Sustainability Program Manager in the Office of Sustainability at Kennesaw State University. In this role, he advances sustainability initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of university operations, promotes environmental education and awareness, develops and implements sustainability-focused educational and engagement programs, and facilitates outreach with both internal and external stakeholders. A native of Pennsylvania, Angelo holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management from Pennsylvania State University. His interests include traveling and outdoor recreation.

Dajawn Williams
Dajawn Williams serves as the Engagement Coordinator for the Office of Sustainability, leading community-focused initiatives that connect students, faculty, staff and partners to sustainability education, environmental stewardship and workforce development opportunities. He helps activate KSU’s green spaces as living learning environments through native habitat restoration, field station development, volunteer stewardship events and applied ecology experiences. With more than six years of experience in environmental education and conservation, Dajawn brings a strong background in fieldwork, program leadership and community engagement, collaborating closely with campus partners, student organizations and local nonprofits to advance KSU’s sustainability goals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Environmental Science and is a recipient of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) 30 Under 30 Environmental Educators award.
