Tell us about your role.

As a Project Management Intern, I leverage my background in marketing, sports, digital media, and team leadership to support project planning and execution. I assist with tracking project timelines, coordinating stakeholders, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring key objectives are met while developing strong project management and leadership skills.

How did KSU help you get there?

I’ve completed multiple outside‑the‑classroom projects representing KSU — including the U.S. Soccer Summit and the Atlanta Hawks National Sales Competition — and each experience helped me grow and get to where I am today.

What life skills did you develop at KSU?

Public speaking, confidence, empathy, marketing and sales skills, and how to remain professional.

Most impactful mentor at KSU and why.

Dr. Butler and Dr. Gala.

How has KSU’s environment contributed to your success?

I worked for KSU Football as a sports marketing intern, served as a KSU brand ambassador, and played on the club soccer team. All of these roles helped me learn more about the university and gain experience across different areas.

How do you feel this experience will help you pursue your future career dreams?

My internship has honestly taught me a ton about the project management world, and I will likely be staying at the company after the summer ends. Northrop Grumman cares about employee growth, so I have a huge ladder to climb — and I’m excited to start the journey!
