The Department Career Planning & Development (DCPD) partners with student organizations to share career‑related information, resources, and support in ways that are engaging and relevant to your members. Whether you’re looking for a presentation or event support, we’re here to help.

Please note:

  • Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance, and staff availability may be limited due to previously scheduled events.
  • A minimum of 10 attendees is required. Student organizations are encouraged to partner with other groups to meet attendance needs.
  • DCPD cannot reserve event space or provide funding for food, giveaways, or other event expenses.
  • DCPD reserves the right to cancel a presentation due to below‑minimum attendance or disruptive activity.
  • Student groups are also encouraged to partner with DCPD by attending or promoting our already scheduled events. View the department calendar to explore upcoming opportunities.

Requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please review your form carefully before submitting. Choose the option below that best fits your group’s needs:

Have DCPD Attend Your Event as a Resource

Planning an event and want career support without a formal presentation? We can attend as a resource and may support your event by:

  • Tabling or general career resources
  • Serving as speakers or panelists
  • Providing resume reviews
  • Other career‑related engagement aligned with your event goals
