The Department Career Planning & Development (DCPD) partners with student organizations to share career‑related information, resources, and support in ways that are engaging and relevant to your members. Whether you’re looking for a presentation or event support, we’re here to help.
Please note:
- Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance, and staff availability may be limited due to previously scheduled events.
- A minimum of 10 attendees is required. Student organizations are encouraged to partner with other groups to meet attendance needs.
- DCPD cannot reserve event space or provide funding for food, giveaways, or other event expenses.
- DCPD reserves the right to cancel a presentation due to below‑minimum attendance or disruptive activity.
- Student groups are also encouraged to partner with DCPD by attending or promoting our already scheduled events. View the department calendar to explore upcoming opportunities.

Our staff can provide customized, interactive presentations for student groups attended by 10 or more students. Presentation topics may include:
- DCPD services and resources
- Internships, co-ops, and course credit for these experiences
- Resumes, interviewing, and job or internship fairs
- Networking and career-readiness skills

Planning an event and want career support without a formal presentation? We can attend as a resource and may support your event by:
- Tabling or general career resources
- Serving as speakers or panelists
- Providing resume reviews
- Other career‑related engagement aligned with your event goals
