    Owl Trek Site Visits (previously the Job Shadow Program) offer students from all majors a unique opportunity to explore a day in the life of various career fields through structured, hands-on experiences. Open to all students regardless of GPA or classification, site visits provide an immersive look into different industries and occur 1-3 times a semester, lasting around 2-4 hours each. Transportation will also be provided by the Department of Career Planning and Development.

    Join us for the next OWL Trek Site Visit with Georgia Transmission! GA Transmission is a leading electric utility organization that plans, builds, and maintains high‑voltage transmission lines and substations in partnership with electric membership cooperatives across Georgia, helping deliver reliable power to communities statewide. This site visit is an excellent opportunity for students and professionals interested in engineering, accounting, business, and data analytics to explore how large‑scale infrastructure, strategic planning, and data‑driven decision‑making support the energy systems that power homes, hospitals, and businesses every day.
