      Explore Your Future with Owl Trek Site Visits!

      Owl Trek Site Visits (previously the Job Shadow Program) offer students from all majors a unique opportunity to explore a day in the life of various career fields through structured, hands-on experiences. Open to all students regardless of GPA or classification, site visits provide an immersive look into different industries and occur 1-3 times a semester lasting around 2-4 hours each, transportation will also be provided by the Department of Career Planning and Development.

      Next Opportunity: McKenney's Inc

      McKenney’s Inc. will host 30 KSU students for an exclusive Owl Trek Site Visit at its Atlanta office. During this immersive experience, students will explore careers in construction management, engineering, and field operations while gaining firsthand insight into how McKenney’s delivers complex mechanical systems for high-profile projects. As a leading mechanical contractor in the Southeast, McKenney’s provides design-build solutions across HVAC, plumbing, and process piping, with a strong focus on innovation, safety, and collaboration.

      Since 1948, the company has built a reputation for excellence in delivering integrated services and cultivating long-term partnerships. This site visit offers a unique opportunity to connect with industry professionals, ask questions, and discover how McKenney’s brings construction projects to life, from concept to completion.
