  • Withdrawal Dates & Refund Information so you understand deadlines for course changes and refund eligibility. 
    • To qualify for a partial refund, students must withdraw from all courses for the semester. The refund amount depends on how much of the term has passed since registration. Students receiving financial aid should consult the Office of Financial Aid for guidance.

    Payments and Late Fees:
    Deletion applies to the entire registration if not paid by the payment deadline. A $100 late payment fee applies to balances not paid by the deadline, and a $100 reinstatement fee applies if courses are reinstated after deletion for nonpayment. Credit card payments can be made via Owl Express. Cash/check payments can be made in the Bursar’s Office by 4 p.m.

    • Distance Learning Courses: Online and Hybrid courses which require a face-to-face final exam will be scheduled by your instructors on a date and time during the Final Exam Conflict Periods as published below. Instructors of Online and Hybrid courses: If you require that a final exam be conducted on campus, you may schedule your final exams during the Final Exam Conflict Periods as published below. Instructors or academic departments should book final exams through KSU Reservations (reservations@kennesaw.edu) to book the location and time for the exam. Please select the day and time from the Final Exam Conflict Period section below.
    • MATH 1111 Common Final Exam: All in-person and 95% online sections of MATH 1111 College Algebra require a face-to-face final exam. The final exam will be scheduled on Wednesday, May 6 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM for all sections of MATH 1111. The exam location will be provided by your instructor. Faculty should not schedule conflicting final exams during this time for students in these courses.
    • MATH 1113 & 1190 Common Final Exam: All in-person and 95% online sections of MATH 1113 and MATH 1190 require a face-to-face final exam. The final exam will be scheduled on Thursday, May 7 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for all sections of MATH 1113 and MATH 1190. The exam location will be provided by your instructor. Faculty should not schedule conflicting final exams during this time for students in these courses.
    • Exam Conflicts: If the final examination schedule results in an individual student having three examinations in one day, the student should attempt to schedule an alternative examination time with one of the three faculty members one week prior to the last day of classes.

A $100 late payment fee applies to balances not paid by the deadline, and a $100 reinstatement fee applies if courses are reinstated after deletion for nonpayment.     Distance Learning Courses – Final Exam Information

    • Distance Learning Courses: Online and Hybrid courses which require a face‑to‑face final exam will be scheduled by your instructors on a date and time during the Final Exam Conflict Periods as published below.
    • Instructors of Online and Hybrid courses: If you require that a final exam be conducted on campus, you may schedule your final exams during the Final Exam Conflict Periods as published below. Instructors or academic departments should book final exams through the KSU Reservations Portal, reservations.kennesaw.edu, to book the location and time for the exam. Please select the day and time from the Final Exam Conflict Period section below.
    • Proctored Exams: Students taking Online or Hybrid courses must have received written approval from their instructors for a proctored exam at the beginning of the semester. Any change to that initially approved request for a proctored exam or any new request for an alternative date, time, or location of a proctored exam requires written approval by your course instructor three [3] weeks in advance of the start of the final exam week.
    • Exam Conflicts: If the final examination schedule results in an individual student having three examinations in one day, the student should attempt to schedule an alternative examination time with one of the three faculty members one week prior to the last day of classes.
