Upcoming Research Computing Events
This page highlights past and upcoming Kennesaw State events happening in the Center for Research Computing focused on research that creates impacts in business, the sciences, and more! Featured are the Supercomputing Researcher Spotlight Series with Yifan Zhang on Bayesian Statistics, and the Research Computing Speaker Series with Milad Minooie on Agendamelding and COVID-19. Free recordings of these sessions are also available.
KSU proudly offers open office hours on Tuesday and Friday at noon for high-performance computing research support. For guided support outside of these times, please contact tboyle@kennesaw.edu.
2026 Supercomputing Researcher Spotlight Series
In addition to these web-based spotlights, we host a yearly speaker series where we have a KSU HPC researcher share their work and how they use the HPC to accomplish their computation needs. For 2026, we present two sessions from Dr. Justin Park, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Here is a description of the two sessions this year:
From Atoms to Insight: Computational Investigation of Thermal Transport and Phonon
Behavior in Nanoscale Materials
2PM - 3PM, Friday, March 20, 2026 on Teams
1st session: Research and Impact
