Research Computing Core Forms

The services of the Center for Research Computing are transitioning to be KSU Research Core Services.  The decision for this was not to restrict the work that needs to be done but rather serve as a way to recoup some of the costs it takes to provide these resource.  When your project's budget can afford it, please consider adding research core costs into your future proposals.

In order to facilitate invoicing for the utilization of our services, we need to create a billable account before access to the service can be requested.  Because of this, the structure of our forms are divided between account activity and service activity.

Billable Account Forms

Create a Billable Account - Use this Research Core Billable Account form to request to have your funding source (Award account, speedchart, etc.) tied to a billing account for our core services.  For projects without a funding source, use this form to request a voucher for free credits to be used in a billable account.

Manage a Billable Account - For projects that already have a billable to account to accept charges for core services, this Research Core Billable Account Management form can be used to add/edit your funding source, extend a voucher or cancel the billable account when services are no longer needed.

Core Service Forms

Request a Core Service - For project's with a billable account, this Research Core Service Request form can request accoutns and access for research computing core services (HPC, Storage, Consultation, Training)

Manage Core Services - For projects with a billable account and existing services, this Research Core Service Management form can be used add users, remove users and remove a service from a billable account.

Please note: before user accoutns are created on the vHPC, users must complete a docusign form for UITS agreeing to the usage terms.
