The Force was with KSU employees at the 2026 Owlympics, held July 22 at the Marietta Event Center! Eighteen teams from across the university entered the galaxy for a morning filled with friendly competition, creative costumes, team spirit and plenty of laughs.

This year’s Star Wars-themed Owlympics challenged teams to put their teamwork, strategy and competitive spirit to the test as they battled their way toward the coveted Owlympics Trophy.

When the final scores were tallied, Team #18, Revenge of the Fifth Revision, claimed the bronze medal, while Team #7, Get Rec’d, powered their way to silver.

But there was no stopping the reigning champions.

Strategic Communications’ C-3-Peat-O captured the gold medal and the 2026 Owlympics Trophy, marking an incredible third consecutive Owlympics championship! With three straight victories, their team’s name proved to be more prophecy than pun.

Congratulations to our medalists and to all 18 teams who brought their creativity, energy and competitive spirit to this year’s event. Thank you to everyone who competed, cheered, volunteered and helped make the 2026 Owlympics another memorable celebration of KSU employees.
