Over the course of the first week of the year, the CHS All-Stars traveled across northern France, competing in four international matchups versus top French hockey clubs. The team finished the trip with a 3-1 record, closing out eight days of competition.
The roster featured a hand-selected group of 23 players from seven College Hockey South programs. KSU was represented by Christian Sousa, James Kravis, Sebastian Zamborsky, and coach Kyle Stevenson.
For Kravis, the experience extended far beyond the rink. “I loved being able to compete against these French teams and exchanging gifts and chatting after the games,” he said.
“Each city had a very vibrant downtown with lots of history. The most amazing thing is that each city had its own Notre Dame Cathedral. Each one had unbelievable details and architecture. Outside of the hockey, being able to experience that type of architecture was my favorite part,” recalled Kravis.

Sousa described the trip as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. “My favorite part from the trip cannot really be pinpointed to one moment,” he said. “The entirety of the trip was fantastic and encompassed a true trip of a lifetime.”
Kravis emphasized the pride he felt representing Kennesaw State on the international stage. “We had a real good group of guys who played hockey the right way and had good attitudes. More than that, being able to represent KSU as part of that group was even more special,” he described.
KSU Club Ice Hockey will continue their season with matches against in-state foe, Georgia Tech, on Feb. 4th and South Carolina on Feb. 14th at the Atlanta Ice House.
