SPCEET undergraduate advising offers both in‑person and virtual drop‑in hours throughout the week to support students with quick questions and general advising needs.

Majors Advised
Drop-In Advising Guidelines

Drop-ins are intended for brief questions and quick advising support. If additional time is needed, an advisor will schedule a 30‑minute follow‑up appointment to continue the conversation.

Drop‑ins are not available for readmit advising holds, pre‑orientation appointments, SAP appeals, or individualized multi‑semester graduation planning. Please schedule a regular advising appointment for more in‑depth discussions.

SPCEET advisors offer multiple appointment formats to meet students’ advising needs. Appointments are available virtually, by phone, or in person.

How to Schedule an Appointment
1. Schedule your appointment through Navigate/EAB.
2. You may also click the “Advisors” tab to the left, select your major, and locate your assigned academic advisor.
3. Each advisor has an individual Navigate/EAB scheduling link listed under their name.
4. Follow the instructions below based on the type of appointment you schedule.

What to Do Based on Appointment Type
Virtual Appointments (Microsoft Teams)
- All virtual advising appointments are held via Microsoft Teams.
- Download Microsoft Teams or ensure you can log in before your appointment:
  - Available via the Microsoft Teams website or on most mobile platforms
  - Log in using your KSU email and standard NetID credentials
- Your appointment confirmation email includes the meeting link. Use this link to join at your scheduled time.
Phone Appointments
- Advisors will call the phone number listed in Navigate at the scheduled appointment time.
- Please ensure your contact information is up to date before your appointment.
Face-to-Face Appointments
- In-person advising sessions are held in the Engineering Lab Building, Suite (G)-213.
- Please arrive on time and bring any necessary materials related to your advising needs.
