Dr. Srijeet Halder is an Assistant Professor of Construction Management at Kennesaw State University, where he began in January 2025. His research focuses on construction robotics, cyber-physical systems, and human-computer interaction in the built environment, with an emphasis on developing human-centered technologies for construction inspection and monitoring.

Dr. Sungchul Jung’s research interests lie in the field of virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) and empathic computing. Through a human-centered approach to cognitive-affective processes, his research seeks to characterize how emotion, cognition, and perception interact in immersive environments using virtual agents, spatial attributes, multisensory feedback, and advanced user experiences. Building on this, he leverages personalized VR/AR experiences for applications in education and learning, collaboration, simulation, and tele-healthcare.

He is particularly interested in using VR and AR technologies for training applications (e.g., mass-casualty triage) and in enhancing communication and coordination between humans and their robot/AI teammates (e.g., partially automated driving systems).
