Study Spaces

The University Libraries offer a variety of study spaces on each campus including quiet study space, study areas where talking is allowed and encouraged, and group study rooms available for reservation.

Reservable Study Rooms

Group study rooms at the libraries are provided to give students a place to engage in collaborative and cooperative study in small groups. Booking can be done up to a week in advance.

Group Study Areas

Group study areas offer many options including tables, individual spaces, and soft seating. These spaces provides seating for groups to meet and discuss. Many whiteboards are available.

In both libraries you can find carrels for independent or quiet study.

Event Spaces

The University Libraries invite other KSU colleges, departments, and clubs to reserve two of our rooms in the Sturgis Library on the Kennesaw campus for meetings and events.

The Hub - Ground Floor

  • Seats up to 64 people
  • Presenter-ready AV setup, including two large display screens, a projector, integrated cameras, room speakers, ceiling microphones, and a media lectern
  • Ideal for academic presentations, professional development workshops, and drop-in events
  • Multiple room layouts available

 

The Nest - First Floor

  • Seats up to 80 people
  • Presenter-ready AV setup, including two large display screens, a projector, integrated cameras, room speakers, ceiling microphones, and a media lectern
  • Ideal for speakers, department gatherings, workshops, and special events
  • Furniture options include, tables and chairs, booths and couches
  • Multiple room layouts available
