AI-Aware Teaching and Learning

CETL supports teaching and learning across disciplines, modalities, and contexts, including AI-aware teaching and learning. CETL’s developmental, learning-centered approach acknowledges that faculty expertise and course learning goals should drive decision-making around AI use. Common decision points that may prompt faculty to seek support include topics related to academic integrity, AI policies/syllabus language, assessment, feedback, course design, AI literacy, and professional development around AI. In addition to AI workshops and 1:1 teaching consultations, CETL has curated a set of resources, informed by the best practices literature as well as critical AI discourse, to support faculty decision making for scholarly, AI-aware teaching and learning.
