Welcoming New Faculty to Kennesaw State

Welcome New Faculty! We are pleased that you have chosen KSU and look forward to supporting you throughout your career. In addition to information about New Faculty Orientation (NFO), this page will connect you with resources and groups on campus that will help you get off to a successful start at the university.

New Faculty Orientation

Hosted by Academic Affairs, in partnership with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), New Faculty Orientation (NFO) is offered each August for all new full-time faculty. Full-time faculty hired after the August orientation may join us in-person the following August.

The goals for NFO are to:

  • Help new faculty develop an understanding of KSU’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Provide new faculty with an overview of available resources to support them in their faculty roles.
  • Facilitate connections with faculty and staff across both campuses.
  • Provide a strong foundation for an energizing, productive, and successful career at KSU.

Please check your email for an invitation to New Faculty Orientation. This email will come from cetl@kennesaw.edu. You may need to check your SPAM folder as well.
