  • Banner is used for class scheduling, assigning instructors, and logging student grades.
  • Concur is a web-based application used for travel authorizations, booking and expense reporting. 
  • Degree Works allows students to see where they are in their programs of study and what they need to complete their degrees. This is also accessible through OwlExpress.
  • D2L is a learning management system that allows faculty to post course information and facilitates faculty/student interactions in a secure online environment.
  • Microsoft Authenticator is used to conduct two-factor authentication needed for access to most campus resources.
  • ePro is the primary purchasing system for creating requisitions and purchase orders.
  • ESS SAS is a reporting and data management tool that integrates with other systems for reporting purposes.
  • The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) - Training is required for access to several campus systems.
  • This system is used whenever the KSU Foundation funds are used. 
  • Visit HR's website for benefit and compensation information,  talent acquisition processes, and resources used to recruit, develop, and retain employees.
  • Handshake  is a tool for advertising and recruiting for internships, co-ops, and campus student assistant positions.
  • Visit the door access site to request or approve door access.
  • KSU Connect is used to access enterprise applications and reports.
  • The Mobile Talon Card is your official KSU ID and includes your KSU#, which is used as an identifier in Banner and associated systems.
  • NetID is a unique identifier used to log into electronic accounts via campus single sign-on (SSO).
  • The OneUSG portal is used to view and edit personal information, view pay and job information, and make requests for time off. It also provides access to personnel changes, staff performance management, and staff and faculty hiring.
  • KSU uses Microsoft Outlook for campus email accounts.
  • pCard  is a departmental credit card used to purchase small goods with urgent needs. pCard is supported by the Works system, which is run by Bank of America.
  • PeopleSoft Financials holds budget and accounting information on transactions. ePro is module of PeopleSoft Financials and information made in ePro are automatically fed into finance/accounting reports.
  • Employees can use Global Connect VPN to securely access systems on KSU servers while away from campus.
  • Watermark is a suite of tools used to support faculty success, provide instructor insights, and conduct student course evaluations.
