International Faculty & Scholar Services promotes internationalization at Kennesaw State University by bringing some of the world’s most experienced scholars and researchers to KSU. IFSS facilitates and monitors immigration compliance within a complex, ever-changing regulatory environment. By providing timely and accurate guidance, IFSS enables the university to recruit and retain international faculty and scholars in support of the institution’s teaching and research missions.

**Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation, Restriction on Entry of Certain Nonimmigration Workers, issued on September 19, 2025, a significant fee of $100,000 has been imposed on new H-1B petitions filed on behalf of beneficiaries residing outside the United States.

In light of this substantial fee, and in accordance with guidance from the University System of Georgia (USG), Kennesaw State University will not sponsor H-1B petitions for faculty candidates who reside outside the United States.**
