Kennesaw State University Tutoring Services and Academic Workshops are here to help all students to be successful in pursuing their academic goals and future directions.

SMART Center

The SMART Center provides tutoring for all current KSU students in Math, Science, Engineering, Business, Humanities, and Social Science courses.

Writing Center

Whether you're a business major working on a proposal, a graduate student writing your dissertation, or an engineering student composing a report, your writing will be judged by instructors now and by potential employers later. The KSU Writing Center is here to support your development as a writer so that you become a more articulate and fluent communicator at the university and beyond.

Supplemental Instruction

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a program that offers FREE weekly study sessions for students enrolled in targeted courses. At KSU, we have over 150 SI Leaders hosting weekly sessions on both campuses and online.

In Fall 2025, over 3,700 students attended SI Sessions at Kennesaw State University. Students who attended SI Sessions on average had half a letter grade higher in the class, and those who attended 10 or more SI Sessions had over a letter grade higher in the class.

English Language Program (ELP)

The ELP's friendly, professional English Language Specialists provide personalized, one-on-one support to all KSU students, faculty, and staff who would like to improve their proficiency in any aspect of the English language. 

Students, faculty, and staff receive support in writing, grammar, reading, pronunciation, conversation, and public speaking in-person and online.

Join the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) departments each week during the Fall 2025 semester for Common Study Hours to work on your assignments with support available from CSM faculty and student learning assistants.

Labs at Radow

The Radow College at KSU offers a dynamic range of student labs designed to put your education into action. From storytelling in the Game Narrative Lab to real-time research in the Affective Neuroscience and Psychology Labs, students gain hands-on experience that deepens learning and builds career-ready skills. The Digital Media Lab fuels creativity with professional-grade tools for video, audio, and content production, while the GIS Lab empowers students to tackle global challenges through spatial data and mapping technology.

World Languages Resource Collection (WLRC)

The Radow World Languages Resource Collection helps to empower students and faculty to excel in world language learning and instruction. Through innovative tools, personalized tutoring, cultural programming, and teaching support, we promote global awareness and academic achievement. Our services are available both in person and virtually to meet the evolving needs of the campus community.

TRAC

The Teacher Resource and Activity Corner is a curriculum center designed to help education students and teachers plan and prepare effective and creative classroom instruction.

TRAC has these primary service zones: 

Computer Lab: includes desktop computers, laptops, iPads, headsets with microphones, scanner, copy/print options, and an Oculus Virtual Reality station.
Education Library: houses over 30,000 items to support the scholarship and development of teachers, including professional books and DVDs, K-12 textbooks, Infant through Young Adult literature, and a wide array of educational extras like classroom tools, tech-oriented kits, manipulatives, games, models, and more.
Maker Workroom: set up with large format printers, laminators, button-makers, binding machines, extra-wide paper trimmers, digital and manual die cuts stations, and (NEW IN 2021!) a Glowforge 3D Laser Printer and Makerbot Replicator 3D printer.
