What is Anthropology?
The Bachelor of Science with a major in Anthropology provides students with a solid
foundation of disciplinary knowledge that prepares them for diverse professional employment
opportunities and graduate school. The Anthropology major encompasses a broad education
about human biological, behavioral, and cultural stability and change and the comparative
study of contemporary societies and cultures around the planet. Majors will take courses
in cultural theory and practice, physical anthropology, and archaeology, in addition
to foundational courses in the field of anthropology. |
