Dr. Gerald T. Mangine is a Professor of Exercise Science and Sport Management at Kennesaw State University and serves as Director of the Center for Human Research in Sport Performance and Wellbeing. A nationally recognized scholar in strength training, biomechanics, and athletic performance, he joined KSU in 2015 after earning his Ph.D. in Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida. Before entering academia, Dr. Mangine spent more than a decade as a strength coach and personal trainer, bringing extensive applied experience to his teaching and research. He is the recipient of the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Terry J. Housh Outstanding Young Investigator Award and is an active leader within the profession, frequently presenting at and hosting major events.
