February 4-13 | Getting to Know Honors Events

Meet Honors faculty and staff, learn about Honors courses, and hear about upcoming opportunities and events. This event is for students currently enrolled in HON 1200 sections for Spring 2026.

February 20-21 | 2026 Georgia Collegiate Honors Conference

The 2026 Georgia Collegiate Honors Conference, hosted by the Georgia Collegiate Honors Council (GCHC), is a celebration of the achievements of honors students in the areas of innovative research and creative presentations from across disciplines.

Join us at Kennesaw State University on February 20–21, 2026, for two days of academic presentations, posters, and the creative arts as we explore the theme of "Honors in Action: Civility in the Marketplace of Ideas."

February 27-28 | Honors Cohort Interview Day

Honors Cohort Interview Day is a full-day, on-campus experience for a select group of 100 applicants per cohort on either the Kennesaw or Marietta Campus. Attendees will learn more about the KSU Journey Honors College and its cohorts, meet current Honors students, faculty, and staff, participate in a campus resource fair, enjoy a guided tour, and more.

March 21 | Journey to 10 Anniversary Celebration (Honors Alumni, Faculty, & Staff)

In celebration of our 10-year anniversary, we are inviting our KSU & SPSU Honors Alumni and community to gather for a night of connection and celebration! Learn more and register here.

March 28 | Beacon Day of Service

The KSU Journey Honors College is partnering with the Department of Student Volunteerism and Service (SVS) and the Beacon Foundation Charitable Trust to offer Honors students a meaningful opportunity to give back through a local nonprofit. More details coming soon.

March 31 | Honors Town Hall - Hosted by HALC

Join the Honors Advisory Leadership Council for a Town Hall meeting! This is your chance to share your ideas, questions, and concerns about the Honors College. HALC uses student feedback to strengthen connections between Honors students, faculty, and staff, and to help enact meaningful change within the Honors college.

This event is for Honors students only! No faculty or staff will be present.

April 22 | Honors Capstone Presentations

Join us for an exciting evening showcasing Honors students’ capstone research, ideas, and discoveries.

Join HALC for free donuts in the Honors Lounge and take a moment to relax before finals!
