School of Art and Design

The School of Art and Design and Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art bring innovative artistry to the greater Atlanta community.

Coming this fall: Collective Geometries at the Zuckerman Museum of Art. Featuring works by nationally and internationally recognized artists, including Dyani White Hawk, Marc Mitchell, Dan Walsh, David Novoros and Jonathan VanDyke, whose site-responsive installation will be created specifically for the exhibition, Collective Geometries transforms the gallery into a dynamic conversation that invites audiences to look more closely, question familiar frameworks and discover the unexpected complexity hidden within even the most fundamental forms.

All of our exhibitions and events are free and open to the public. We are excited to be opening two new galleries this year in the Arts District of KSU as well.

Department of Dance

This season, we begin with Double Exposure, featuring world premier choreography from the internationally acclaimed Gabrielle Lamb and Phoebe Jewitt. Our fall dance concert is Viewpoints, an evening of contemporary dance that explores how we perceive time, space, memory and one another through movement, featuring original works by KSU Dance faculty, and performed by the award-winning KSU Dance Company. And we're excited to welcome RUBBERBAND this spring, bringing their award-winning Vic's Mix to the KSU stage with an electrifying fusion of athleticism, artistry and innovation.

Bailey School of Music

This season of Music brings together internationally acclaimed guest artists, celebrated faculty performers and the next generation of musicians through a range of orchestral, choral, jazz, chamber and solo performances. From the precision and power of the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra to the expressive artistry of Jazz Ensemble I and the Chamber Singers, each ensemble contributes a distinct voice to a season shaped by collaboration and musical excellence.

We're thrilled to welcome Emmet Cohen, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Third Coast Percussion and Boston Brass as part of our ArtsKSU Professional Series.

Department of Theatre and Performance Studies

The 2026-27 season marks our 30th year of Theatre at KSU. Over three decades, the department has grown into a living ecosystem of artists, scholars and makers — where stories are not only told, but continually reimagined.

We're honored to begin our season with welcoming Mary Prescott and her multidisciplinary performance of Tida.

Our fall productions include Branches Etched Across the Sky and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. In the spring, we will host the New Works and Ideas Festival and culminate our 30th anniversary season with Into the Woods.
