The Gary Martin Hays Helping Hands Fund
Purpose The Fund is a flexible financial assistance program for students in the Geer College of the Arts (GCA) at Kennesaw State University. It will provide $1,000 awards for up to 10 students per academic year in need of emergency financial assistance. Selection Criteria Applicants must be enrolled and majoring in a degree within the Geer College of the Arts and demonstrate a personal need due to an unexpected circumstance, crisis, or emergency where financial assistance would make a difference, in the student’s ability to cover the cost of tuition, books, class materials unique to the Arts, and living expenses (rent, food, gas) where the inability to pay would result in a life-altering situation.
