This summer, KSU transitioned our virtual desktop service, Virtual Owl, from VMware to Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop. Connecting to your virtual desktop is now easier than ever, and once logged in, you'll find a familiar desktop experience.

 

What is Virtual Owl?

Virtual Owl is a cloud-based service that allows Owls to securely access a full Windows desktop experience and applications from virtually anywhere.

 

How to access Virtual Owl:

To access the Virtual Owl, you will need to download the Windows App, which is available across platforms:

 

• For PC: Download the Windows app from the Microsoft Store—How to install and log in to Azure Virtual Desktop-Windows
• For Apple devices (Mac): Download the Windows app from the App Store—How to install and log in to Azure Virtual Desktop-Mac
• For Android devices: Download the Windows app from the Play Store—How to install and log in to Azure Virtual Desktop - Android
