The Bursar's Office is a department within the Office of Fiscal Services (OFS). The responsibilities of the team in Bursar’s Office include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Accounts Receivable 
  • Cashier Services 
  • Student Accounts Services 

The Bursar's Office is committed to providing: 

  • Accurate assessment of student tuition and fees 
  • Timely collection and receipt of university funds 
  • Timely disbursement of student refunds 
  • Quality customer service to campus constituents

The Bursar's Office provides the following services for KSU students:

Disbursements of Financial Aid balance of awards
Administration of private scholarship funds and funds on deposit accounts
Administration of Corporate and Third Party Contracts
Collection of Perkins Loans/KSU Emergency Loans

Net Price Calculator

KSU’s net price calculator is intended to provide estimated net price information (defined as estimated cost of attendance — including tuition and required fees, books and supplies, room and board (meals), and other related expenses — minus estimated grant and scholarship aid) to current and prospective students and their families based on what similar students paid in a previous year. 
In most cases, this will not reflect your actual costs. Rather, it is intended to give you a sense of the overall costs of attending KSU during that timeframe and how total costs are calculated. Click the link below to get started.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Student Account Suite is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the Pay Online or Owl Express links on the right-hand menu under Bursar Quick Links. Web check payments from checking or savings accounts are accepted with no charge. Upon verification of your routing and accounting information, your payment will be posted immediately. Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover are also accepted, although a 2.95% convenience fee will apply. Follow all Web payment instructions for verification of your card numbers. If your credit card is approved, your fees will be charged immediately.

  • Web check payments can only be drawn from a regular checking and saving account. 
  • You may have a pop-up blocker enabled on your browser. Pop-up blockers must be disabled for the necessary screens to open with options to select and complete payment transaction. 
  • Approved financial aid funds usually download on the final payment deadline of each semester. This download is usually completed by midday. Students must verify their student account and ensure all tuition fees have been paid by the deadline.

  • Students must complete an intent to enroll for the summer semester for any financial aid to be dispersed to their summer semester. 
  • If subject to a refund, students may access this information on the Registrar website
  • If subject to a refund, funds will be refunded through the student's selected refund preference. 
  • A new kit must be requested through Card Services
  • All billing information regarding tuition and fees are sent to the students through their KSU student email. Students must check their KSU email account frequently for official communications from the University.
