Student Engagement and Support Advisory Council

As student leaders, the SESAC members train hard, volunteer their time, and acquire knowledge and skills to help the Student Engagement and Support department in tabling and promoting the department at various university-wide events.

Additionally, SESAC members are trained to facilitate peer-to-peer workshops and activities. Members are paired with a Hub coordinator based on interest and desire to learn, and they assist the Hub Coordinators in the planning, coordination, and execution of the various Heritage & History Months and Weeks that the SES celebrates.

The Lounge

Here, all students can connect, find campus resources, build relationships, study, and socialize in a supportive environment. Peer leaders are available to help students connect and provide peer-to-peer support for student success.

The lounge offers a variety of resources, including computers, a printer, a private study room, games, study supplies, and other academic tools.

We invite you to join us and experience the warmth and support of this vibrant community space!

Originally dedicated in 2011 as the “Sala de Logros para Estudiantes” through a generous RRPG grant from The Goizueta Foundation, this space in Willingham Hall, Room 121 D, has evolved to become The Lounge. It is designed to foster academic resources, support, and community.
