Students
Students who are participating on any international academic, co-curricular or research experience NOT affliated with a KSU Faculty-Led Study Abroad Program are required to register their travel with the university and purchase the university’s supplemental international insurance policy with Zurich/On-Call International. This includes international travel for:
- non-credit bearing experiences
- independent education abroad experiences
- registered student organization (RSO) experiences
- athletics travel
- field work
- dissertation or thesis work
- service learning
- conference participation
- international internships
- directed studies
- research that is related to the academic field of study

Student Registration for International Travel
Kennesaw State University (KSU) requires all students traveling internationally OUTSIDE of a KSU Study Abroad Program to register their travel with the Global Safety Team.
UNIVERSITY-SPONSORED INDIVIDUAL TRAVEL -
Group International Travel
Leaders of or individuals coordinating university-affiliated, non-credit bearing student group international travel are required to submit a Non-Credit Bearing Group International Travel Form in order to initiate the travel registration process for the group.
