KSU Hosts the 29th Southeast Model African Union (SEMAU) Conference
November 2026

Institutions of Higher Education in Georgia and beyond are invited to join the 29th SEMAU academic exercise, which promotes global learning. The Conference is organized by Kennesaw State University (KSU) in collaboration with the University System of Georgia African Council (USAC).

It is an internationalization model, which brings the learning of Africa as close to the students as possible. Students and their faculty advisors, from various institutions of higher education in the University System of Georgia and beyond, attend the conference annually to simulate the activities of Heads of State of the African Union (AU) representing 55 countries of Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia-the headquarters of the African Union.
