The Department of Geography and Anthropology at Kennesaw State University empowers students to explore the complex connections between people, cultures, places, and environments. Our faculty are passionate educators and researchers who bring real-world perspectives into the classroom while actively involving students in the discovery process. Faculty and student research addresses critical issues at the local, regional, and global levels, including sustainability and environmental studies, geospatial technologies, land surveying, forensic science, heritage and resource management, and studies of culture, community, and livelihoods.
