Informal, Faculty-Centered Discussions Highlighting Ongoing and Emerging Research

Coffee & Research is a recurring faculty research initiative designed to strengthen research culture and promote collaboration across disciplines. The series provides an informal forum where faculty can share ideas, present ongoing or preliminary work, exchange feedback, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

All events are held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in BB 269.

About the Series

Each Coffee & Research session features brief faculty presentations followed by discussion in a relaxed setting over coffee. The initiative spotlights early-stage ideas and ongoing projects, creating space for feedback, networking, and the development of new collaborations.

The series is designed to:

showcase research with societal impact
foster connections across departments and disciplines
create opportunities for collaboration
strengthen a supportive and collaborative research culture

Coffee & Research is typically held twice each semester and provides regular opportunities for faculty to engage with colleagues and build meaningful research connections.
