- To create your new portfolio website, head to weebly.com. Step-by-step instructions on how to create an account and build the portfolio are provided in the videos below. - Use ksusiti.weebly.com as the source of the text that you’ll copy and paste to build out your website.
- You will be using a header within your portfolio. Please select one of the headers below and save it to your computer for use in your portfolio.
- Open the ISTE + ASCD EdTech Leader Certification Portfolio Template (also referred to as the ISTE portfolio slide deck for sake of brevity). Click “USE TEMPLATE” in the top right hand corner and it will save automatically to your Google Drive. You will build out this portfolio in ITEC 7500; however, you can edit the slide deck throughout the program and place screenshots of implementing the standards with students and educators into the slide deck. For images and instructions on how to insert this slide deck onto your “Portfolio” tab of Weebly, please reference this helpful job aid.
- Weebly is always making updates, so the videos may not match exactly (e.g., themes may change. Just find a similar one with menus at the top). Regardless of changes, the videos should be very helpful!
