Project Description

The Robin and Doug Shore Innovation Center is a 70,220-square-foot interdisciplinary research and instructional facility on Kennesaw State University’s Marietta Campus designed to support faculty-led research and teaching. It features advanced spaces such as wet and dry labs, high-bay engineering and fabrication labs, cybersecurity and advanced computing labs, chemistry and biology teaching labs, classrooms, flexible collaboration areas, and a grab-and-go food option, along with KSU’s first clean room. Serving as a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration, the facility brings together faculty from multiple colleges, including computing, science, business, engineering, and humanities, within shared research environments that foster innovation.

Overall, the building significantly enhances the Marietta Campus by elevating its profile as a center for STEM education and research, increasing opportunities for hands-on student learning, strengthening industry and community partnerships, and attracting top talent and research initiatives to the region.
