Project Overview
Built in the late 1980s, Mickey Dunn Baseball Stadium is home to the KSU Owls, a program with a history of national and conference championships. Outdated and undersized, the facility no longer met the needs of student-athletes or the expectations of fans. To modernize, the facility and stands were demolished and rebuilt, expanding capacity to 1,500 and adding stadium gates, ticketing, concourse, restrooms, concessions, dugouts, press and broadcast boxes, and premium suites. The upgraded field also supports KSU’s growth with rental opportunities and expanded premium seating.
In addition to the Stadium Rebuild, the natural turf playing field was replaced with synthetic turf, a new scoreboard was installed, the existing field lighting replaced with LED fixtures, and the retrofitting of the existing third base bleaches
