Project Overview
The KSU Place I & II Renovation is a comprehensive renovation and modernization of eleven undergraduate residential buildings on Kennesaw State University’s Kennesaw campus. The 129,000-square-foot project will reconfigure units to increase residential capacity from 551 to 828 beds, provide accessible accommodations, and upgrade building envelopes, interiors, utilities, life-safety systems, laundry facilities, landscaping, parking, and pedestrian infrastructure. Designed to enhance the student residential experience, improve functionality, and extend the facilities’ useful life by 20–30 years, this project is a critical component of the institution’s long-term housing strategy.
The project is currently under construction, with student occupancy scheduled for August 2027. All buildings will remain offline throughout the 12-month construction period.
