University Library Summer Renovation

The ground floor of the Sturgis Library (Kennesaw Campus) is closed through the summer for renovations. While the main ground-floor entrance is inaccessible, the library remains open! All essential services have been relocated to the first floor.

Because the main ground-floor entrance is closed, please use one of our two temporary access points located on the first floor:

• South Entrance: Located on the side of the building facing the Mathematics & Statistics Building.
• North Entrance: Located on the side of the building facing University Hall.

We have moved our information desk to the first floor to ensure your academic needs are met without interruption.

Head to the first floor to access:

• The Information Desk: Speak with library staff for research assistance and general inquiries.
• Printing & Scanning: Printers, copiers and scanners are fully operational in their temporary first-floor location. 
• Item Borrowing: Borrow books, technology, and anatomy models directly from the first-floor Information Desk.
• Laptops: Students can check out laptops for in library use at the information desk.

Group and individual study rooms on the first and third floors remain fully available throughout the summer.

Note: There will be construction on the third floor, so please expect noise.

While the renovation is occurring, certain features of the Sturgis Library are completely unavailable this summer.

• Sturgis Computer Lab: The ground-floor computer lab is unavailable. However, you can access computer labs at other locations across campus.
• The Williams Rare Book Museum: This space is located on the ground floor and will remain closed for the duration of the renovation.
