Project Management
Executing projects successfully requires a blend of strategic planning, precise coordination, and dedicated support. OE Project Management provides the expertise units need to get an initiative from inception to completion with confidence and assurance. Whether the project is a new program, major event, or a collaborative effort among different divisions, OE Project Managers are ready to define goals, set timelines, conduct research, identify risks, secure resources, promote collaboration, and balance priorities in pursuit of sustainable and impactful results serving KSU.
Currently, OE privileges projects that directly support the KSU Strategic Plan and divisional Strategic Implementation Plans. Projects that do not will be considered as time and resources are available. -
Process Improvement
Cultivating efficiency in one’s responsibilities benefits overall operations and makes everyone’s positions more rewarding. By applying common improvement methodologies, OE can help individuals and teams identify opportunities to increase efficiency and impact of key processes, document those improvements, and train teams to support. The OE can also develop automation elements in workflows. -
Process Documentation
Sustaining operations and supporting new team members and leadership requires a detailed understanding of key processes. Documenting those processes allows knowledge to be recorded and consistently conveyed for efficient onboarding and seamless continuation of work. OE is here to help units and personnel create strong, thorough documentation and identify the best way to preserve and disseminate that material. OE will provide templates, best practices, and regular reminders to keep your documentation current. Documentation also helps units that want to review and improve their processes. -

OE is expanding its reach and developing training to introduce the campus community to project management, process improvement, and process documentation. The trainings are a chance to explore what’s involved in this work and learn how to embrace and apply these practices.
