Daily Workflow

“My day-to-day mainly consists of different projects that are listed in Asana,” Dominique explained. Asana is a project management tool many collaborative teams use to structure and assign tasks. The job also includes projects in Photoshop, creating various illustrations, and attending creative meetings. The goal of the meetings is to discuss ideas and plans for the overall brand.

Future Aspirations

Dominique hopes to pursue freelance work in the future. His current role provides the professional experience that he aims to carry forward. He also noted how UI/UX design is an essential skill to master, as they work hand in hand, especially for interactive design majors.

Advice for Future Owls

Dominque also shared his advice for his fellow Owls who are looking for an on-campus job. “Definitely put yourself out there,” he said, “I think that is the greatest way to get yourself in any kind of space.” He notes that communication plays a huge role in the professional aspect. Dominque also encourages students to be confident, show enthusiasm, and know what it is that they want.
