Photo Contest

 

  • To be eligible for the photo contest, you must be a current student (graduate or undergraduate) at Kennesaw State University at the time of application or have graduated within the past three semesters (Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026).


    Students may submit up to 1 photo per category, and must include: 

    • Location
    • Education Abroad Program Name
    • Caption (2-4 sentences describing the moment).


    Photo Requirements: High resolution recommended (minimum 3000 pixels on longest side). Minor editing allowed. 

    Judging: Photos will be evaluated on visual impact, creativity, storytelling, representation of global learning, and relevance to the category. The Global Education Office will select finalists for each category for a public vote.

    Public Vote: Finalist photos will be displayed at the Education Abroad Fair on Oct. 6 (Kennesaw) and Oct. 14 (Marietta) and winners for each category will be chosen. 


    The photo must have been taken by the person submitting the entry, or the entrant must be in the photograph. If you are in the photograph and did not take the photo yourself, ensure that you have received the rights before submission. All pictures must comply with the KSU Code of Conduct. AI Content is strictly prohibited. Education Abroad reserves the right to disqualify photos that do not align with the contest category, are inappropriate, or are of low quality. 

    By submitting a photo, the entrant agrees to grant Kennesaw State University permission to use submissions in displays related to the contest, as well as future print and online publications.

Video Contest - Opening Soon!
