Thomas Fish

Tom Fish is an Associate Professor of Theatre History and Resident Dramaturg for the Department of Theatre & Performance Studies with over 20 years of experience as a scholar-artist. His research interests include Southern theatre traditions, gender and performance, queer theatre history, and religion and performance. His current project explores the history of HIV/AIDS performance activism in the Deep South. Tom is also an active production dramaturg, assisting with research and community engagement for professional theatrical productions. He has previously taught at McGill University, Tufts University, and Georgia State University.
