Dr. Randy Patton, Shaw Industries Distinguished Chair and Professor of History

Randall Patton received his BA in History (1982) from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and his MA (1985) and PhD (1990) from the University of Georgia. He has taught at KSU since 1993. He specializes in the history of the South, the US since 1945, and business and labor history. He also enjoys American film and comic books both professionally and just as a spectator.
