Dr. Daniel Farr, Principal Lecturer of Sociology

Daniel Farr, Ph.D., is a Principal Lecturer of Sociology.  He holds a Ph.D. In Sociology, M.A. In Women's Studies, and is working on an M.A. In Art & Design - Museum Studies. His research areas actively engage with issues of gender/masculinities, sexualities, LGBTQ+ studies, and media. In 2025 he received the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences Outstanding Teaching Award and the Distinguished Contributions to Teaching Award from the Southern Sociological Society.
