The College of Science and Mathematics' Problem-solving, Reasoning, and Engagement for Student Success (PRESS) Summer Bridge Program readies incoming Kennesaw State University first -year students for a strong start to their fall science and mathematics courses. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and assigned prep courses will be sent out to accepted students’ KSU email by Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Accepted students must confirm their participation by responding to the acceptance email by Wednesday, July 8, 2026.






For 2026, all sessions will take place on the Kennesaw Campus.
You may take at most one (1) course each week. Students must be available for the entire week. PRESS includes lunch, snacks, and social activities throughout the program.
Additional details will be sent to accepted applicants.
Is there a cost?
There is a $100 commitment fee per week that will be refunded to those who complete the program.
Extenuating circumstances may be considered for a refund. Extenuating circumstances do not include work or vacation conflicts.
We do not want the commitment fee to keep students from participating in the program. If you would like to request a waiver, please send an email to Dr. Callahan via csmpress@kennesaw.edu.

Is housing available?
Limited housing is available to first-time, full-time incoming students (20 spots) who live more than 50 miles away on a first-come, first-served basis for Week 1 only. There is no housing cost for PRESS.
