Photonics and Applications
Photonics is the physical science of light (photon) generation, detection, and manipulation through emission, transmission, modulation, amplification, processing, and sensing. Our work addresses fundamental problems in atomic, molecular, and optical physics, the development of photoluminescent organic, organometallic, and inorganic materials, quantum science and technologies, as well as nano-science and engineering.
