Updated Repeat Override Policy
The College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) has updated our Repeat Override Policy for all courses in our college. KSU's university-wide policy mandates that a student request permission for a third or higher attempt in any course from the college that houses it. CSM requires that you complete a CSM Repeat form. Third repeat requests will now require completion of a student success module for consideration. We will review your form submission and either grant access to the required student success module, approve, deny, or request additional information so that we can better support you and your success.
You should ONLY use this form if you are requesting a 3rd or higher attempt of an ASTR, BIOL, CHEM, ENVS, GEOL, MATH, PHYS, or SCI course. Keep in mind that withdrawal (W or WF) count as attempts of a course.
New Deadlines:
Submission Deadlines for Students requesting to take a course for the third time:
CSM Repeat Request Form:
Summer 2026: Wed, May 27th at 11:59PM
Fall 2026: Tues, August 18th at 11:59PM
Students requesting a third repeat will need to complete the CSM Student Success Module in D2L and complete a Post-Module Form after completing the required modules.
Post-Module Form:
Summer 2026: Tuesday, June 2nd at noon
Fall 2026: Mon, August 24th at noon
Submission Deadlines for Students requesting to take a course for a fourth or higher time:
Summer 2026: Thurs, May 21st at 11:59PM
Fall 2026: Wed, August 12th at 11:59PM
All submissions received before these deadlines will be processed in time to enroll in your intended term.
