The AI Competition, sponsored by ResultsCX, unites students across the Coles College of Business in a dynamic, hands-on experience. It fosters interdisciplinary team collaboration and AI fluency through an interdisciplinary challenge and Student Organization involvement.

AI Competition Instructions

Submit your team's final solution as one PowerPoint or PDF file. The file may use a slide-deck or report format, but it must clearly communicate the solution and be understandable without a live presentation.

Accepted formats: PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) or PDF (.pdf)

Suggested file name: TeamName_AICompetition_Submission.pptx or TeamName_AICompetition_Submission.pdf

If the submission includes a prototype or demonstration link, confirm that judges can open it without requesting access.

Submission link: Submissions will opens at 10:00 am on Friday, Sept. 18 and will close at 12:15 pm.

What You'll Do

Teams of 3-5 students will utilize AI tools provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to tackle a case study developed by ResultsCX.

Over an intensive 1.5-day innovation sprint, students will receive support from AWS's solution architects, ResultsCX's AI Team, and Coles College faculty.

This competition concludes after teams have pitched their AI‑powered solutions to a panel of industry and faculty judges.

What to Win

1st Place: $1500

2nd Place: $1000

3rd Place: $500

Who Can Participate

Participation is open to all undergraduate Kennesaw State University students who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn with a desire for collaborative, interdisciplinary work. Prior technical experience is not required.

To ensure a well‑rounded learning team, students will be intentionally reallocated, if necessary, to ensure collaboration from a variety of majors and academic backgrounds. This interdisciplinary approach allows participants to contribute their unique strengths while gaining exposure to new skills and perspectives essential to the workplace.
